Areas of Law
Every lawyer specialises in specific areas of law. Many lawyers acquire specialist lawyer titles in order to specialise. I decided against acquiring a specialist lawyer title. I completed my doctorate with the grade “summa cum laude” and am of the opinion that I do not need to underpin my outstanding legal qualifications with further titles.
My specialisation in legal advice began during my studies. There I chose “Commercial and Corporate Law” as my specialisation. Commercial and corporate law then formed one of the pillars of my advisory services. As a result of my promotion, corporate law was then strengthened by insolvency law and the law relating to other company liquidations. From the very beginning of my professional career, I worked for media companies and in law firms specialising in media law. This led to the creation of economic value in the media sector, especially through copyrights and industrial property rights (trade mark law etc.).
I specialise in the following areas of law and represent clients on a regular basis in court:
- Corporate law (GbR, GmbHG, AktG, GenG), including shareholder disputes, dismissal of managing directors, formation, liquidation and insolvency
- Commercial law (HGB), including commercial agency law
- Music law
- Copyright law (UrhG)
- Trade mark law
